You know, I thought that the BBC News article about monitoring texts and web use (the one they posted on 1st April) was an April Fool’s Joke.

I just moved to the US for a short spell and I thought the Patriot Act was fucked up. Some of my family left parts of India, Pakistan and Iran to move to other countries that were less dangerous/unstable.

WTF is going on in the world?

conflicts:

Fucking no.

This is our government.

This is what they do, how they control and watch and monitor us.  And use our money for it (this is going to cost £200 million a year).

It’s disgusting, it’s horrifying and inhumane.

Sherlock/DW fans who idealise this country and want to move here, and want to be British, please take a moment to have a look at just a tiny scrap of what life here is really like, and be glad you’re not here.  Be glad there isn’t a camera watching your every move, too.  Those are sickening enough.
